Privacy Policy

Papira (the "app") is a digital vault designed to keep your personal documents and belongings safely on your device. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data is processed.
1. Where is your data stored?
Everything you enter (documents, belongings, vehicles, homes, contacts, reminders and any files or photos you add) is stored only on your device, inside the app's protected storage. This data is not sent to our servers or to any third party. You do not need to create an account; the app never asks you to sign in.
2. Permissions
- Camera / Photos: Used only when you choose to add an image to a document or belonging, or to scan a document, and only to access the content you select.
- Face ID / biometrics: Used on your device only to unlock the app; biometric data never leaves the app.
- Notifications: Used for local reminders about entries that are about to expire; no server is involved.
3. Ads (Google AdMob)
The free version shows Google AdMob ads. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers (e.g. IDFA / Advertising ID) and limited usage and diagnostic data. On iOS, your device asks for your consent to tracking through App Tracking Transparency; if you do not allow it, non-personalised ads are shown instead. Purchasing Premium removes ads completely.
4. Purchases
Premium purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details; the privacy terms of the relevant store apply.
5. Deleting your data
All of your entries are under your control; you can delete any entry from within the app, or remove everything at once under Settings → My Data. Deleting the app removes all app data from your device. Because there are no accounts, there is no separate "delete account" step.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children (4+).
7. Changes
This policy may be updated; significant changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
